Ya-Hui Metters

Ya-Hui Hsieh Metters is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese. She was born and raised in Taiwan. After graduating from Fu Jen University with a B.A. in German and a minor in French, she came to New York City pursuing a M.A. from SUNY FIT in Arts Administration. Ya-hui, also named Nathalie by friends, has great interest in arts and foreign languages. In addition to German and French, she has learned Japanese and Tibetan. She has been teaching foreign language to children since college. For the past 2 1/2 years Ya-Hui teaches at a Chinese School on the weekends. Raising her three children bilingually, she understands the immense benefits for children knowing two languages first hand. Now her passion is to teach all children Mandarin in fun and joyful ways!
