Thank you for your interest in our MUSIC AND MORE WITH KELLY classes!
Music Together® classes will give you and your child the opportunity to play musically each week under the guidance of one of our early childhood music specialists.
The Mixed Ages classes are the cornerstone of the Music Together philosophy. We believe that children ages birth through four, participating together in age appropriate activities are in an optimal learning envrionment and we encourage you to bring your siblings to the classes together.
During class, you will sing and move to songs and rhythmic rhymes in a variety of meters and tonalities by participating in activities that include small and large movement, instrument play-alongs and community singing. These fun activities are presented in an informal, non-performance-oriented environment that is developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers to participate in regardless of their own musical ability! You will receive two professionally recorded CDs and a beautifully-illustrated songbook so you can continue the music-making fun at home. Families new to Music Together® will also receive our “Music Together at Home: Helping Your Child Grow Musically” parent DVD.
Musical Me, developed by Director Kelly Heinze, is our transition class from Music Together to formal music education. Children K-1 learn basic piano skills and notation, experiment with rhythm games and drumming, work on their confidence and independence in singing and dancing. They are also introduced to Musical Theater and Creative Movement through fun and playful games. Research shows that children learn through play until age 9!

Essex County Lango is a full immersion language learning class that utilizes music, movement and arts and crafts to expose and excite children to learn about new languages and cultures. Classes for Toddlers (3yrs-5yrs), K-2,and 3rd- 5th. French, Spanish and Mandarin curriculums. Beautifully illustrated workbook, flash cards, sticker vocabulary sheets, and a CD included with tuition.
Drum and Fun, by Intisar Brooks. Classes available for children ages 2 to 8 years of age. Children will find their beat and share their groove while exploring the Djembe Drums, percussion instruments, and creative movement. Come on a journey with us! Learn African rhthyms, culture, wildlife and more!
